The machining section spans the entire spectrum from single spindle drill presses to automated special purpose machines to CNC palletized machining centers and lathes.

Single spindle presses are used generally on low volume runs where the cost of multiple nests for rotary tables or fixtures for CNC machines is prohibitive.
We have a number of lead screw tapping machines with rotary tables used for tapping of threaded holes. These are ideally suited to castings which have only one or two sizes of threaded holes.
Three Brother CNC with rotary pallets are used for castings requiring extensive machining with a combination of tools – drills, taps, reamers, etc. These are also used where a high degree of accuracy is required on positioning or depths.

A CNC lathe with air chuck allows accurate cost effective turning of high volume parts.
We often work with tolerances of +/- 0.0002 on diameters of reamed holes, for instance.
In-house finishing includes shot blast, tumbling, polishing, vibratory finishing and ball burnishing to de-burr and wash castings after machining.
